Our libraries offer a wealth of resources for music lovers
across the county.
Music CDs can be found in all our larger libraries as well as
some of the smaller ones. These cover the whole range of musical
genres. There are also music DVDs available across the county - the
largest collection being at the
County Central Library.
You can find out what is available by searching our
online
catalogue.
The largest collection of music books and printed music is at
the County Central Library where you can also find a collection of
music periodicals and a nationally recognised collection of
performance sets - orchestral sets and multiple copies of vocal
scores as well as small collections of recorder consort and wind
band music - for loan to registered music societies. For full
details of loan conditions see our
music set procedures and charges.
The full catalogues of the performance sets collections are
online.
