Kent Adult Placement Scheme

 

The Kent Adult Placement Scheme is run by Kent Adult Social Services. The Adult Placement Scheme places vulnerable adults with Adult Placement Carers in local communities giving them opportunity to be part of a family or household and other social networks.

If you have a learning disability, physical disability or you are an older person the Kent Adult Placement Scheme can offer you a short break or a more permanent home.

Information about becoming a carer

Adult Placement means taking into your home someone who is presently unable to live independently and requires some practical and emotional support. A placement can either be on long term basis, respite or as a stepping stone to independent living.
