Your new social care bill
|
From 28th November 2008 Kent County Council are sending
out new style social care bills.
There is no change to the way in which the amount you pay is worked
out, however, you will notice that the way your bill looks has
changed.
Your bill will continue to show the outstanding balance brought
forward from your previous bill, payments made during the period
and the charges for the given period.
The bill will no longer have 4 lines of charges (one for each
week). It will have one line for the charges over the 4 week
period, unless your circumstances have changed during that period.
Any adjustments will be shown as additional lines.
How to pay If you pay by direct debit, the
amount and date of the next payment to be taken from your bank
account is printed above the tear-off slip. The amount will be
automatically taken on the date shown.
If you do not pay by direct debit, the back of your bill shows the
various payment methods that can be used to pay.
